Piurify Hydrogen Water Pitcher Review
After testing the Piurify hydrogen water generator, it’s clear this device does not live up to many of its marketing claims. While the generator sports an impressive design with vortex-inducing lights that make the water look enticing, our examination revealed major shortcomings.
Most concerning is that, despite assertions about using platinum-plated titanium electrodes, the device actually contains simple titanium electrodes. Additionally, there is no proton exchange membrane (PEM) between the electrodes as would be expected by the lack of an exhaust vent.
The combination of these missing features means this generator produces minimal hydrogen, instead generating concerning amounts of chlorine and releasing titanium, a toxic heavy metal, into the water.
Clearly this poses potential health risks — the opposite of what a hydrogen water generator should provide.
Equally troubling are the misleading promotional statements used to sell this generator. Our tests contradicted claims about electrode materials, technology inside the device, and the end product the generator produces. This level of false advertising calls the ethics of the entire brand into question.
In daily use, the product is also lacking. The large base makes it cumbersome, it’s easy to knock over, and the cap that must be regularly opened to refill is extremely difficult to open, especially with wet hands. Plus, design flaws like BPA plastics and internal areas that easily trap mold further detract from usability and safety.
In the end, it’s best to avoid this product.
For all its flashy lights and vortex effects, it fails to deliver clean, beneficial hydrogen water.
Between possible health risks from toxins and heavy metals to simply not functioning as advertised, this product is a disappointment on all fronts.
Spend your money on a quality and affordable hydrogen water bottle using proven technology and transparent business practices instead.
