Small electrode surface area

Hydrogen water has been embracing the spotlight as the latest health trend, driven by the belief that it provides a host of health benefits. Amid the rising proliferation of such bottles in the market, the Echo Go+

Hydrogen Water Bottle, a favorite amongst health influencers like Gary Brecka, Joe Rogan and Dana White has garnered considerable attention.

Manufactured by the Ehm Group Ltd., China, for Echo Technologies LLC, the Echo Go+ smacks of sturdy craftsmanship, with its aluminum and polycarbonate plastic body. However, a closer look into its design reveals some hitches. The unconventional hexagonal design, while visually appealing, poses a challenge when fitting the bottle back into its body.

The Echo Go+ boasts of having a 6th generation technology. It includes a double chamber equipped with a bottom exhaust vent, a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM), a pressure design, and a platinum-plated electrode. The mute point is its electrode surface area, which is significantly smaller compared to those of similar devices in the market.

The electronics in the Echo Go+ are well protected against moisture, barring the button and the USB-C port. Accompanied by a snappy interface and a substantial battery capacity of 2200 mAh, the bottle offers a decent punch in terms of technology.

However, the ratio of its pricing to offered features seems rather extreme.

the poor packaging of Echo Go+

Marketed as low-maintenance, the Echo Go+ tells a different story upon practical usage. The water container and cap appear to be a challenge to clean thanks to its considerably complicated constitution.

Delving into customer support, it’s disappointing to note its lackluster performance. Consumers have expressed dissatisfaction over delay in product delivery and unsatisfactory response rate to queries.

The offered 5-year warranty, in contrast with the typical 2–3 years lifespan of the membrane, leaves us pondering about its potential effectiveness.

Here is the catch: the battery usually dies well before the membrane.

And it’s not protected by the warranty!!! Surprise?

Summing up, the Echo Go+ seems somewhat overpriced considering the flaws regarding usage, design and customer service. Certainly, high-end product packaging and unboxing experience leaves much to be desired too, especially if you are considering gifting this product.

In this journey of exploring the best hydrogen water bottles in the market, the Echo Go+ may not be the crown jewel.

However, it offers a perspective on what a hydrogen water bottle should not be, reminding us that even a well-marketed product can sometimes fall short in delivery and satisfaction. Stay tuned as we continue our quest to find the perfect hydrogen water bottle.
